Meet Your Mover
Growing up in a small town in Central Illinois, Chris learned the value of being part of a community early in life. Following high school he bounced around between various jobs before finding his way to Chicago. There he served as an AmeriCorps member for programs such as City Year and Public Allies mentoring youth and, later, leading construction crews as a member of Habitat for Humanity. After his time in Chicago, Chris then made the decision to branch out to Austin where he continued his tenure as a public servant for the Episcopal Service Corps before turning his attention to music, as he is currently pursuing a Music Business degree at Austin Community College. Appropriately, Chris is an avid music collector and listener, though he feels most at ease outdoors, specifically the green belt. Maintaining quite the balance, Chris is also a Chicago sports fan (former Cubs grounds crew member) and has been skateboarding since he was just 12.
