I have an elevator at my apartment. Do I need to reserve it?

Yes, if available we always recommend reserving elevators at apartment complexes or high rises. Keep in mind, not all places will offer that as an option, but it is always worth checking first. Having to share an elevator with other tenants or worse, another moving company, can slow down a move considerably so reserving the elevator is always a good idea.

Do you provide full-service or partial packing services?

Yes! If you need packing services just let us know. Our movers are experts in moving AND packing and we are happy to help. We can provide boxes and packing supplies to you at cost!

Question 3

Will you have the proper equipment to protect the building's walls and flooring when moving my stuff out of the building?

Accepted Answer

Yes, leasing offices love us because we take all the necessary precautions to protect their buildings. We prep all of our apartment moves with special pads and lining to protect entryways, floors, and walls from damage.

Question 4

Do I need to be around to show where things go in my new apartment?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, you will be there to help our movers understand where everything goes. This way we can make sure each piece of furniture and every box gets to the right room and the exact right spot. If you can’t be at the unload, we recommend doing a facetime walkthrough to let the movers know where to unload or marking furniture locations with post-it notes prior to arrival.

Will my pets be in the way?

To make sure your pets are safe and sound we recommend keeping them in another room, in their crate, or at a friend’s place while we move. There can be movers in and out and the last thing we want is for your furry family members to escape, or worse, get injured!

Question 6

What if my belongings or apartment are damaged?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is to get your goods from point A to point B safely and intact! In the rare case that damage occurs, we do offer No Worries Damage Coverage.

Question 7

Do I tip my movers?

Accepted Answer

As with other service industries, you may wish to thank your movers by offering a gratuity if they do a wonderful job. Keep in mind that gratuity is not expected but is certainly appreciated.

On average, our crews typically receive tips that are around 10% to 15% of the final bill. Of course, if your movers were super duper awesome you can leave more if you like. Conversely, if you didn’t feel the movers lived up to your expectations, you don’t have to leave a tip at all.
