Moving from a 3rd floor to another 3rd floor? Do you have a long walk, tight hallways, or shared elevators? Whenever you are moving to or from an apartment, there can always be obstacles (and lots of stairs!) along the way.
Don’t stress! Let the hardest working professionals in the business do it for you!
Be it the 1st, 3rd, or 35th floor, no one is better at providing mind-blowing customer service at an affordable cost than Einstein Moving Company. We provide clean, fully stocked trucks and our own well-vetted, highly motivated movers to make sure your apartment move is the easiest, most stress-free, and most enjoyable move you will ever make.
Booking with us is very easy! Once we get the opportunity to get a few questions answered we’ll provide an estimate and confirm a booking with you online, over the phone, or through email. We will be in contact a few times leading up to your move including an email alerting you of the exact movers that will show up on move day so you can check out their bios on our Meet Your Movers page.
On move day, we arrive with a clean 26 foot moving truck fully stocked with everything you need for a successful move. After conducting a quick walkthrough of your apartment, we will get the contract signed and begin prepping your apartment for the move.
Prepping the apartment consists of protecting the entryway with pads and specialty door protections as well as covering the entryway floors with a rug runner or pad (where applicable). Leasing offices love us because we take such good care of their buildings!
Once your apartment is prepped, we work on protecting the furniture with shrink wrap, bands, and quilted moving pads. We want to make sure your items are safe and sound during transit! Our movers also come with fully equipped tool bags and will begin disassembling any furniture that needs to be taken apart in order to be moved safely (like beds, tabletops, etc.). Of course, everything that is disassembled will be reassembled at the other location. We can even help transport all your appliances if you have them.
At the destination, we will make sure everything is exactly where you want it before conducting a final walkthrough and closing everything out.
Once the contract is closed, we let you know the final move total based on the total hours we worked (or the minimum) and you can pay with whatever payment you prefer. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

Yes, if available we always recommend reserving elevators at apartment complexes or high rises. Keep in mind, not all places will offer that as an option, but it is always worth checking first. Having to share an elevator with other tenants or worse, another moving company, can slow down a move considerably so reserving the elevator is always a good idea.
Yes! If you need packing services just let us know. Our movers are experts in moving AND packing and we are happy to help. We can provide boxes and packing supplies to you at cost!
Yes, leasing offices love us because we take all the necessary precautions to protect their buildings. We prep all of our apartment moves with special pads and lining to protect entryways, floors, and walls from damage.
Ideally, you will be there to help our movers understand where everything goes. This way we can make sure each piece of furniture and every box gets to the right room and the exact right spot. If you can’t be at the unload, we recommend doing a facetime walkthrough to let the movers know where to unload or marking furniture locations with post-it-notes prior to arrival.
To make sure your pets are safe and sound we recommend keeping them in another room, in their crate, or at a friend’s place while we move. There can be movers in and out and the last thing we want is for your furry family members to escape, or worse, get injured!
Our goal is to get your goods from point A to point B safely and intact! In the rare case that damage occurs, we do offer No Worries Damage Coverage. Visit our page to learn more about our damage coverage.
As with other service industries, you may wish to thank your movers by offering a gratuity if they do a wonderful job. Keep in mind that gratuity is not expected but is certainly appreciated.
On average, our crews typically receive tips that are around 10% to 15% of the final bill. Of course, if your movers were super duper awesome you can leave more if you like. Conversely, if you didn’t feel the movers lived up to your expectations, you don’t have to leave a tip at all.
“I’m only half way through the move, and so very, very pleased. Brandon and Mike have been great. They were on time, they met the challenge with smiles, and got to work fast. So far I highly recommend Einstein! I had been so anxious about the move, but they’ve made it easy.”
