North Austin is the place to be and it’s no surprise that we are welcoming new residents to the area every day! North Austin isn’t quite as “weird” as the Southern side of the city but it makes up for it with fantastic school districts, excellent green spaces, and an abundance of jobs in a number of sectors including clean energy, computer/software development, and advanced manufacturing.
Additionally, North Austin surrounds its quiet, peaceful neighborhoods, with stellar shopping at places like the Domain and the Arboretum and great hike and bike trails at Walnut Creek Park and Brushy Creek trail. Oh, and let’s not forget Burnet Road. New restaurants are opening there every few months.
Are you looking to move into your first apartment, but are unsure where to start or what to look for in a place? For some people,

LaRon was born in Amarillo, TX located in the TX Panhandle. He’s lived all over West Texas in the ensuing years, Big Spring, Midland, and Odessa where he graduated from the University of Texas, Permian Basin with an English degree in December 2014. LaRon’s travels finally ended in Dallas/Fort Worth as a young adult where he gained all of his professional moving and stand-up comedy experience in his 5-year residency there. He then moved to Austin in late 2019 to live with his girlfriend and subsequently spent all of 2020 quarantined together in their first apartment. They are now expecting their first child in late April.
Russell was born and raised in Austin, TX. He had a tough childhood but learned that through hard work and determination, he could make a difference in people’s lives for the better. Russell later decided to live with and take care of his senile grandmother throughout high school while being an active member of his football, basketball, and track team. After graduating high school he attended Baylor University for 2 years studying computer science and decided to take a break after Covid hit. Now, Russell lives in Central Austin and has been enjoying the opportunity of working for Einstein Moving Company.
Thomas comes from a small town in East Texas and typically goes by Gene. He has always loved hard work and getting things done, which makes the moving industry a perfect fit. Though Gene is not a big fan of watching sports, he does enjoy playing basketball and working out in his spare time. Food is definitely the love of his life, outside of his wife, Carol, and kid, Daniel, of course. Gene’s family is most definitely his main motivation for moving to Austin, as his son is autistic and Austin has the school and medical help he needs. Gene has always worked with his hands doing heavy lifting or turning wrenches and looks forward to bringing that experience to Einstein.
Jordon is a northeast transplant who moved down to Austin nearly three years ago. Upon graduating in 2012 with a Liberal Arts degree from Queens College, City University of New York, he moved to Israel to voluntarily serve in a combat unit with the Israel Defense Forces for 18 months. He then held some ordinary office jobs in his mid-20s before finding a remote writing/editing gig that simultaneously allowed him to travel for over a year. Prior to his move down to Austin, Jordon spent 10 months on an epic cross-continental road trip as well as three additional months in Germany, Spain, and Portugal. An enthusiast of the great outdoors, he enjoys swimming, hiking, camping, and backpacking through Texas’ many beautiful parks. He’s also a self-taught classical guitarist and visual artist.
We’re always up to lend a helping hand — might be why we’re a moving company! Here are a few of the local non-profit organizations we’re involved with:
To help offset our carbon emissions and build healthier forests, our North Austin team has committed to planting four trees for every move since July 2, 2020. If you’re interested in learning more about the Eden Reforestation Project, visit their site.
Our team is happy to support the Austin Miracle League every year with a donation to their annual Golf Tournament. If you’re interested in helping kids who are unable to play in other recreational leagues, we encourage you to donate or volunteer with us!
Back in 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas hard. Our team was able to partner with the Austin Disaster Relief Network to provide free transportation services for needed supplies to different shelters and areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. If you’re able to help with the impact of COVID-19, you can donate here.
Our team believes that everyone deserves a home that is a safe place to sleep, that’s why we help with the relocation of multiple Syrian refugee families free of charge with the help of the Refugee Services of Texas and Caritas. Learn how you can help here.
Education is important! That’s why our team continues to donate to El Amistad Club to provide students with scholarships to help reach their educational goals. Learn how you can help here.
